The Lament is the very best sword that Destiny can offer at the moment and one of the best exotic weapons as well. If used properly, the Lament outperforms any other weapon’s DPS with deadly combo-strikes and provides healing that keeps your Guardian alive at the toughest situations.Lament combo is incredibly strong, usually healing you out of the incoming damage and boss stomps. You can tank both bosses with it. You can air combo the Rm80 shank relatively safely with it, etc. the sword is still so good. Don’t get me wrong, passive guard is amazing, but lament by the only sword it doesn’t feel mandatory on.Behemothhh. For lament: 3x revved light, 1x revved heavy, 2x normal light, repeat. You need 2 lucent blade mods for this combo. Without them you'll need more normal swings to recover energy which lowers your DPS. With 0 lucent blades, a 2x1x3x combo is better. Don't know what the ideal combo for falling guillotine is as I don't use it.Aside from Lament, Black Talon with 2x heavy is the only one capable of competing with Bequest. Lament (unsurprisingly) is capable of the highest DPS of all swords. Best Lament combo for DPS is the 3 revved lights -> 1 revved heavy -> 2 normal lights combo.
