I understand that this is the same bar as a John Deere 1780. I do like it BUT .....the cylinders in the center of the bar decided to quit lifting during planting last spring.

I've seen the problem worse on Deere's 1780 style planter with the longer hitch on the 6/11 or 8/15 planters causing more side pressure on turns. I've always welded the units with no long term problems. What amazes me is the Deere planters are so bad from the factory you have to change out parts and spend a bunch of money right after you buy a brand new machine.
