Just got a Staccato P yesterday. 100 or so rounds yesterday, another 300 to 350 today. Slide is getting noticeably smoother for sure. The P is a great shooter, need a little more trigger time, zero issues. No FTF, No FTE, nothing…tried to burn it down with full mag dumps, double taps. At this point, yes, the fit and finish of the P is nicer.Anyway, many reviews i have read put the Stealth Arms Platypus on par (or better) than Staccato. A guy i shoot with weekly just got his yesterday and says its just as good as the Staccato’s he owns, (C2, CS and P). We’ve gotten used to glocks, sigs, S&W, etc and they’re all typically $700 or less. But if you want a halfway decent 1911 you’re spending 1500 at minimum. When you think about it that way the staccato non-comp line is really fairly priced imo.

The correct answer is = get both. Have a 226 zev and staccato p limited, Staccato no question. 226's are nice but Staccatos are nice. Had both the P and the C2 and a sig legion p229 SAO. The Sig was by far the faster/flatter shooting pistol.

Based on my research, the SFX9 has better build quality, trigger, and magazines, whereas the Staccatos have more aftermarket support, a better optics system, and are a true 2011.
