Jul 9, 2009 · So basically only lucky people and extreme players can get this gear. I am not the type of person who can get 6 archmage or promethean in two months and i'm positive i'm not alone. The waterworks is the most rounded of the bunch, it gives you enough healing and enough damage to do both in either circumstance, the zigazag gear is mostly just damage and if you even needed to heal in a pinch, espicially trying to climb through zafaria - Azteca you would really struggle without the proper athames, rings and amulets.I got the robe 4 times before finally getting the hat and boots, but it only took me a day and under 6 hours. It was probably 4 hours total if you don't include the 2+ hours I spent soloing and also farming zigazag. House of scales is a bit more offensive gear, lots opt for the robe and hat from there. I think the waterworks boots are best though. I might have the hat and boots switched in my head though. Also, I'm told you'll often find maxes running ww for snacks. The wt hat is good for questing as it gives a blade, in most situations it's better than the waterworks hat. The wt robe also gives a trap for bosses, otherwise worse than the waterworks robe. Waterworks boots are way better than the crafted ones, but if you don't want to do waterworks, barbarians fierce boots from the bazaar or wt bosses ...
